This picture was taken in the hospital on the 19th of January, the day after Ender was born. |

He slept and slept and slept. Sometimes we found it impossible towake him up to feed him. The only people who could were the nurses and his father. |

These are two pictures taken of Ender at his grandparent's home when he was two weeks old. Ender was born jaundiced and here he is getting some sunlight on his skin to help with this. Otherwise he was pretty healthy except that sometimes, he just wouldn't wake up for his feed. We later realised that the medicines that his Mother was taking for her high blood pressure were affecting him via his breast milk - and the doctor's never warned us about this!!!

These are two pictures of Ender with his cousin Ayberk. Ayberk is Aunty Serpil's son and always said he wanted to be a brother to Ender. When Zühre was pregnant, Ayberk bought some chocolate and told her that she should eat it so that Ender can have some chocolate. Later on, after Ender was born, Ayberk bought Zühre some more chocolate so that Ender would get milk chocolate to drink! Ayberk is crazy about Ender and says he will rescue him whenever he gets into trouble and fight for him at school. These pictures were taken some time in the middle of February. |

Here's Ender at two weeks old. At this time he liked a dummy when he was sleeping, but shortly afterwards he just stopped and found a subsitiute, which you can see below. |

These pictures were taken when Ender was two months old. When Ender slept at this time, he wouldn't stay asleep unless he had a bottle to hug and hold in his mouth. He's aged 7 months now, and he's still the same! |

These pictures were taken in June when Ender was 5 months old. Here he is at his grandfather's home with Ayberk. Ender's father had just had major brain surgery a week before these pictures were taken and had just got out of hospital. Poor Osman Alagöz. All he wanted to do was rest and sleep but his grand children wouldn't give him any peace! Secretly though, he's crazy about the two of them and was happy to have them around him when he was recuperating from his operation. Ender's grandfather strongly believes that he has already met Ender before somehow. Somehow Ender's face is familiar to him, but he can't explain how this would be possible. |
